SMS: set up

It's easy to get your organization to start new requests and get answers with texts through atSpoke. 

Enabling SMS:

  1. Navigate to Settings
  2. Select the Integrations tab
  3. On the SMS card choose Connect

Once you click Enable SMS from the popup, atSpoke will generate a text-only number to contact your atSpoke account. The number will be immediately visible to you and anyone else who logs in.

You will also need to make sure that your users have phone numbers saved within their atSpoke user profiles. This allows atSpoke to confirm that you're a member of the team and give you access to company information.

This is all your number is used for; atSpoke won't be calling you when we're lonely or to sell you stuff at dinner time.

Once these steps are completed, to use atSpoke via SMS just send a text to the SMS number and voila! atSpoke will respond with more information almost immediately via text. 

You can now atSpoke directly via text, or login to the platform.

Tip: Setting up SMS with atSpoke works best while using the Google Chrome browser
